Destroying the Seeds of Discomfort

Writer's picture: AdminAdmin

Many of us often find ourselves in a place of discomfort. We feel out of place and defeated. The worries of life consume us and dominate our actions. Every time we try to birth our vision, move forward, or transition to our next level, something comes up to hinder or stop the process. This my friend - is how distraction seeps in. The enemy wants us to feel this way. It is Satan's desire to sift us as wheat and stop the plans of God from travailing in our lives, according to the word of God in Luke 22:31, KJV. Knocking us off our God-ordained course, filling our minds with negative thoughts, and by keeping us so consumed with the ‘ins” and “outs” of life until we don’t have time to focus on the things of God.

Why?

Because we are heavily consumed with the spirit of distraction.

As a matter of fact, how do we counter this, you might ask. Well…this is accomplished with persistence. We must pursue God with our whole hearts, pray fervently, and find a quiet place to enter into His presence. Therefore, I invite you to find a quiet place and pray aggressively in the spirit the strategic prayer points on Destroying the Seed of Discomfort:

Father I come to you at this very moment acknowledging you as our Lord and Savior

Jesus Christ.

I thank you Lord for bringing the spirit of distraction to my blinded eyes.

I pray right now in the mighty name of Jesus that You will hear my prayer as I seek the courage and strength to suddenly break the back of distraction OFF my life in the name of Jesus.

I bind up spirits of discomfort, delay, stagnation, worry, stress, agitation, unsuccess, hurt, agony, complacency, destruction, and fear in the name of Jesus.

For Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV) proclaims, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

Your plans Lord my for life are for good and not evil. Therefore, I denounce and ask that you destroy the spirits of oppression, suppression, depression, abandonment, paralyzation, mental fogginess, unemployment, under-employment, health issues, antisocial disorders, isolating spirits, anti-submission, and jealousy in the name of Jesus.

I stand firmly on Psalm 18:2 (KJV), "The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold."

NO longer I will be controlled by my enemy, dominated by lies, and defeated by trickery – but I shall consistency walk in the overflow of our Lord as I fulfill my God-given destiny and life’s purpose in the name of Jesus.

For your Word says in Psalm 34:18 (ESV) that You, O Lord, "...is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit."

I thank you Lord for my freedom and call it done in the omnipresent name of Jesus Christ of

Nazareth, I pray... Amen, Amen, Amen!!!

Breaking chains and setting captives free,
